Algerian court convicts the journalist Mustafa Bin Jameh for compromising the national interest

On January 9th, the Algerian court in Annaba, decided to jail Mustafa Bin Jameh, the editor in chief of “Le Provincial” newspaper for 2 months and a suspended sentence. This happened following the prosecution request of his in force detention for a year on charges of compromising the national interest, in his Facebook post where he published; “Today, Sunday, Annaba misdemeanor court convicted me with a two-month detention, not yet in force, and a fine of 20,000 dinars (123 Euros) on charges of compromising the national interest”.
