The Algerian judiciary issues a sentence of 6 months in prison for a journalist

The Algerian judiciary issued a sentence of 6 months in prison against the journalist Abdelhakim Setouane; on charges of defamation, violating the sanctity of persons, and publishing pictures to the public that were collected by illegally.
In addition to that, they convicted Setouane for publishing news about a moral scandal related to the Algerian Parliament Speaker, Suleiman Shanin; that included information about him having a sexual relationship outside of marriage.
