Egyptian authorities release the journalist Mohamed Mostafa

The Egyptian authorities have released the photojournalist, Muhammad Hassan Mustafa; after being arrested for a year and a half.
They charged him with “publishing and broadcasting false news and statements”; “taking part in a terrorist group with the knowledge and promotion of its objectives” and “misuse of a social media platform”.

Mustafa was released on the 6th of this month, two weeks after the decision of his release was issued.

Also, Mustafa was subjected to enforced disappearance for 3 months; when the Egyptian authorities arrested him in September 2019.
