Diplomatic, political, and religious figures attend the memorial service of Lokman Slim

Today, Thursday, The family of Luqman Slim has held a memorial service, that was attended by October 17 movement activists as well as political, religious, and diplomatic figures such as the German ambassador, Andreas Kendall, the Swiss ambassador, Monica Schmutz Kirgotskd, and the American ambassador, Dorothy Shea, who stressed in her speech at the service at the necessity of holding those involved in the killing of Slim accountable, and that the crime is unforgettable nor forgivable.

The memorial service was held in Haret Hreik, southern suburbs of Lebanon, where Salim lived. The attendance of the American ambassador aroused questions because she came to the southern suburbs, headquarter of Hezbollah.
