Tunis refer a file on a TV channel to the anti- corruption

The Tunisian authorities referred a corruption file related to a TV channel to the Public Prosecution Office in Ben Arous Governorate, southern Tunis.

The Anti-Corruption Commission stated that the file is tied to allegations related to the use of legal forms in political propaganda, as well as collecting donations. According to the commission, this came after a lawsuit filed by the High Independent Authority for Audiovisual Communication regarding a TV channel broadcast without legal authorization, and suspicions concerning the channel receiving funding from unknown parties.
