Lokman Slim is a Lebanese journalist who ran a publishing house and UMAM Documentation and Research Organization located in the southern suburbs where the Lebanese Hezbollah is located; and Slim was one of his opponents. Also, he’s always highlighting the file of the missing as he researched and documented memories of the civil war.

In addition to that, in the recent period he worked on documenting the Syrian war diaries, and he produced two documentaries; one about the Sabra and Shatila massacre and the other one about the torturing in Tadmor prison in Syria.

Lokman grew up where his body was found, covered in blood, in the southern suburbs of Lebanon. That night of February 3, 2021, he was kidnapped and was found dead the next morning in the village of Addousiyeh.
According to observers, the indications exists in the pictures that Hezbollah supporters hung on the walls.
